Who are we ?
The Gramin Vigyan Samiti (GVS) was founded by Mr. Devaki Nandan Kandpal in february of 1999. Studying from IIT Roorkee he had many options to go to one of the big cities but the zeal to do something for his community laid the foundation of this organization to bring positive change in the lives of the communities across major sectors including health, education, skills & livelihoods, women empowerment, environment, water & sanitation.
